THE VOYNICH MANUSCRIPT
TITLE SEQUENCE
The project is a title sequence for a fictitious movie about a mysterious manuscript and its enigmatic messages.
The Voynich Manuscript is one of the most mysterious manuscripts known so far. Code breakers over the world had tried to understand the meaning behind the letter-type symbols written in its 102 remain pages.
Also, the manuscript is heavily illustrated with beautiful drawings of plants and astronomical patterns, appearing to be a scientific work from the middle ages.
The motion piece is based on the most complex page of the document, which I used to recreate the assets by hand and then animate in order to bring to life the beautiful and interesting worlds inside the manuscript. The objective is to familiarise the audience with the Voynich Manuscript and to get them involved throughout the beginning into the exciting discovery of the hidden messages and secrets behind its pages.
